My name is Vladimir Kravchuk - Web Development and Cyber Security is what I do. I am currently a senior at The Pennsylvania State University studying Cyber Security.

I am a hands-on learner. I love learning on my own and getting involved in self-started projects. This manifested into my profession. I developed my first website in high school after teaching myself web languages. Before I became a cybersecurity major, I hacked wireless routers and executed cutting-edge malware in virtual machines. And at Penn State, I competed in cybersecurity events with the Competitive Cyber Security Organization. I realized that I needed to turn my hobbies into my profession. I switched my major from pre-med, and the rest is history.

As much as I enjoy my career, I always place importance on family, friends, and personal time. It is becoming harder than ever for employees to balance work and personal life, but this balance is so important. It is the only way to “be empowered to work really hard for a really long period of time.” A healthy balance between work and personal life to helps me enjoy my work and achieve my best results. It is one of my core values, and I strive to become better at it every day.
